A New Beginning?

I apologize. This first post is going to be a simple placeholder until I decide whether to migrate over, or at least set up cross-posting. For all that LJ has been dying the death, they haven't done anything to make me want to leave in a while, so I'm not some desperate refugee like so many others here. This is just the first time since the diaspora that I've been able to get an invite code without begging. So here I am. I'll decide if this is worth the hassle later. Got too much to do right now.
